Round of Negotiations at Cachoeiro Stone Fair more than doubles projected sales, reaching US$10.1 million

The International Round of Negotiations at Cachoeiro Stone Fair 2026 has the potential to generate US$10.1 million in sales over the next 12 months, according to the consolidated results after the event. This figure represents an increase of 160% over the preliminary estimate of US$3.9 million, released in early September. An additional US$702 thousand in immediate business deals was generated during the fair.

Organized by It’s Natural – Brazilian Natural Stone, a sectoral project developed by the Brazilian Natural Stone Association (Centrorochas) in partnership with the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil), the event took place on August 26 and 27. It connected 15 Brazilian companies (13 from Espírito Santo, one from Ceará, and one from Paraná) with 5 buyers from the United Arab Emirates, Mexico, and Poland.

The initiative is part of the project’s trade promotion strategy, aimed at generating business opportunities and expanding access for Brazilian natural stones to the international market. Over the course of the two days, around 60 business meetings were held, resulting in 59 contacts, 46 of which were new.

“The results of a round of negotiations go beyond the sales made during the event. Each new contact expands the possibilities for accessing other markets and paves the way for future negotiations. Our role is to create these connections and strengthen business relationships between Brazilian companies and international buyers,” says Thiago Fukuda, the manager of It’s Natural.
