Centrorochas (Brazilian Center for Dimension Stone Exporters), with the support of Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency), brought together participants from all regions of Brazil, adding representatives from 13 states, during the virtual seminar “Marmomac 2021: Doubts and clarifications about the participation of Brazil”.
At the opening, Centrorochas’ vice-president, Fabio Cruz, highlighted that Apex-Brasil’s work with the ornamental stone sector in recent months has been fundamental to bring about the changes the segment has been going through. The councilor of the entity and president of Sindirochas, Tales Machado, reinforced the importance of this partnership and said that, more and more, businessmen can feel the advances gaining strength.
Apex-Brasil’s Service Industry coordinator, Paulo Silva, introduced the theme of the event, detailing that this is the first time that the agency has carried out this type of direct action with the sector. “This year’s edition of Marmomac will be managed by the national agency and this opportunity to listen directly to businessmen is very important so that, together, we can make an event with engagement”, he reinforced.
Next, the coordinator of Events Management of Events and Special Projects, Raquel Gomes Vilharva, and the analyst of the coordination of Events Management of Events and Special Projects, Luiz Marcos da Silva Junior, detailed the procedures that companies must follow to join the fair. Alongside his colleagues, the Services Industry Coordination analyst, Anderson Dib, also participated in the webinar.
Marmo+Mac 2021
The fair will take place from September 29th to October 2nd, in Verona, Italy. The event will be directly executed by Apex-Brasil with the following booth options:
– 16 stands of 10 m²
– 12 stands of 20 m²
– 02 stands of 50 m²
During the presentation, Apex members reinforced that this is an original configuration, but it may be adjusted according to availability after analysis by interested companies.

After evaluation according to the score, Apex-Brasil will publish the result (with forecast of return in the first week of May, one week after the closing of the inscriptions).

At the end of the event, representatives of the national agency reinforced that they are studying the customization of stands with the technical assembly team. However, interested companies must express their interest when filling out the registration form.
