One of the Brazilian states with the highest degree of economic openness, Espírito Santo is also a protagonist in national exports of natural stones. In view of the natural vocation of the State for foreign trade, a new cycle of the Export Qualification Program (PEIEX) was launched on June 13. The president of Centrorochas, and vice president of Sindirochas, Tales Machado, participated in the event held at Findes in Vitória.
The program will be implemented by the Federation of Industries of Espírito Santo (Findes), through the Euvaldo Lodi Institute (IEL-ES), in partnership with the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil). In time, Centrorochas and ApexBrasil are partners in the implementation of the project It’s Natural – Brazilian Natural Stone program to encourage sectorial exports.
Any company that wants to export a product or service can participate in the 2023-2025 cycle of PEIEX. Attending the event, ApexBrasil’s competitiveness manager, Clarissa Furtado, explained that PEIEX’s goal is to transform companies into regular exporters. “We will work with companies that have never exported; with those that already export but can reach new markets; or those that export, but still infrequently. We will work with industry, agribusiness, cooperatives and also with the service sector,” he said.
In total, there are 150 spots available for companies wishing to receive a mentorship and an exclusive export plan to enter the international market. Registration is now open! Just send an email to email@example.com.
The launch event was attended by the Deputy Governor of the State and Secretary of Development, Ricardo Ferraço, the Vice-President of Findes, Paulo Baraona, the regional manager of ApexBrasil, Gustavo Esperandio, the general manager of Centrorochas, Giovanni Francischetto, manager of It’s Natural – Brazilian Natural Stone, Rogério Ribeiro, among other entrepreneurs and authorities.
