Market diversity defines Brazilian participation in Marmomac Italy 2026
A hall dedicated to Brazil brought together 42 companies and welcomed buyers and professionals from markets across Europe, the Americas, Asia, the Middle East, and Oceania.
Verona (Italy), September 29, 2026 – From Europe to the Middle East, spanning Asia, Oceania, and North America. A market diversity defined Brazil’s participation in Marmomac Italy 2026, held from September 22 to 25 in Verona. For the second year in a row, an entire hall at the trade fair was dedicated to the country, bringing together 42 Brazilian companies. Throughout the four-day fair, there was a steady flow of buyers, distributors, architects, and other professionals from the international natural stone supply chain at the space.
Of this group, 41 companies are part of It’s Natural – Brazilian Natural Stone, a sectoral promotion project developed by the Brazilian Natural Stone Association (Centrorochas) in partnership with the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil). Commercial results are still being consolidated, but the initial feedback from exhibitors indicates a positive assessment of the fair and highlights the market diversity in Verona.
Besides buyers from several European countries, exhibitors welcomed visitors from the United States, Australia, China, India, the United Arab Emirates, and Kuwait, among other markets. This trend confirms a key characteristic of Marmomac highlighted by Centrorochas before the trade fair: even though it is held in Italy, its ability to connect industry players extends beyond the European market. “Marmomac brings together buyers, distributors, and specifiers from different continents. This broad scope makes Verona a connection point to the global market and expands opportunities to associate the value of the materials with their Brazilian origin,” said Tales Machado, the president of Centrorochas.

Exhibitors’ accounts help illustrate the scale of this trend. Making its debut at Marmomac Italy, Della Pietra, which was still building its presence in the European market, stated that the trade fair exceeded expectations and reported closing deals, including as a result of contacts with customers from the United States.
The experience also surprised companies with a long history in international markets. For Helder Nico, the owner of Graniti Export (from the city of Nova Venécia, in the state of Espírito Santo), the 2026 edition was the best he had ever attended. With 30 years of experience in the market and at trade fairs in the United States, China, Dubai, and Europe, the entrepreneur highlighted the presence of visitors who were interested in doing business.

“I have already participated in many trade fairs around the world, and this was the one that surprised me the most. We had many clients, architects, and companies sitting down at the table and doing business. It is the best trade fair I have ever attended,” Nico said, approvingly.
Besides serving as a connection point to different markets, Italy itself holds a strategic position for the Brazilian sector. In 2025, the country was the third-largest destination for Brazilian natural stone exports. Sales totaled US$117.7 million, an increase of 42.2% compared to the previous year. Quartzites accounted for 72.8% of this total, with US$85.6 million exported, according to data released by Centrorochas.
