Online conference brought together representatives of more than 40 companies in the ornamental stone sector
The Strategic Map of Markets and Commercial Opportunities for Brazilian Exports and the Map of Opportunities focused on the United States developed by Apex-Brasil were the theme of the webinar held by Centrorochas and Sindirochas this Thursday, August 6th. In addition to identifying opportunities for Brazilian exports, the opportunity maps of the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency show potential market risks and the strategic positioning of products already exported by market.
The International Business Analyst of Apex-Brasil’s Market Intelligence Management, Carla Carvalho, was the guest panelist and presented the tools showing the paths that companies should follow when looking for opportunities in the international market and carried out research simulations based on in concrete cases using HS codes specific to the stone sector. These codes are part of the international goods classification system and are part of the tool’s database.
The president of Centrorochas, Frederico Robison, participated in the event and highlighted the importance of exporters working with real information. “The tool is very good and very comprehensive, essential for the entire sector to work with more accurate information in its strategic planning”, he said.
The holding of events for the dissemination of technical content was mentioned by the president of Sindirochas, Tales Machado. “I am happy with this event: rich in technical information and focused on a tool that can help stone sector companies to expand their business”, he added.

Strategic Map of Markets and Commercial Opportunities for Brazilian Exports – the platform has 101 countries mapped on all continents. Such countries were included in view of the presence of SECOMs (Trade Promotion Sectors) located in Embassies and Consulates around the world.
