Seminar in São Paulo presents commercial advantages of the Emirates

Representing the national ornamental stone sector, Centrorochas project manager, Rogério Ribeiro, participated in the seminar ‘Commercial Opportunities and Advantages in the United Arab Emirates’ promoted by Khalifa Industrial Zone Abu Dhabi (Kizad) and by the Arab Chamber, on the 8th of March in São Paulo.

The United Arab Emirates appears as one of the priority markets in the sectoral project It’s Natural – Brazilian Natural Stones, carried out by Centrorochas in partnership with ApexBrasil. “We studied in depth all the opportunities for companies in the segment”, stressed Rogério when talking about the event.

Kizad, a free zone in Abu Dhabi, in the United Arab Emirates, has been growing as an international base for Brazilian companies. It offers packages for setting up foreign companies, which include services such as help with local registration and contacts for doing business. The enterprise managed to attract more than 20 Brazilian companies in the last two years and this week promotes a mission to Brazil in search of new interested parties.

The seminar at the Arab Chamber brought together Brazilian businessmen and was the central point of the delegation’s agenda in Brazil, which includes other activities, mainly B2B, in the states of São Paulo and Minas Gerais until next Friday (11). At the event in São Paulo, Kizad’s commercial director, Khalid Al Marzooqi, gave an overview of everything that the United Arab Emirates, Abu Dhabi and Kizad offer in terms of facilities for companies.

The seminar was opened by the president at the Arab Brazilian Chamber, Osmar Chohfi, who highlighted the profile of the United Arab Emirates as a connection hub with the entire Arab world. He also spoke of the role that Kizad plays in the process of receiving and dispatching goods, the basis of the Brazilian trade balance with the Arabs.
