The first participation of It’s Natural – Brazilian Natural Stone at Coverings 2021 was marked by qualified visits during the event, held from July 7th to 9th, in Orlando, Florida. The project is the result of a partnership between the Brazilian Center for Dimension Stone Exporters (Centrorochas) and the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil) to promote the Brazilian dimension stone market abroad.
The final data, released by the organization of the fair on July 30, show that the majority of visitors, around 54%, were there in search of new products. Designed as a meeting space for companies, the Brazilian stand brought together 25 stone exporters who had the opportunity to interact and present their portfolio. The manager of the sectorial agreement, Rogério Ribeiro, celebrated the result of the action and reinforced that the objective was to consolidate Brazil’s participation in the North American market, which, in addition to having a high purchasing potential, occupies a position of influence in neighboring markets. “We are satisfied with the result. The absence of Brazil in this event, which is so strategically important for the ornamental stone sector, would bring very bad consequences for the future performance of the segment in this and other markets”, he added.
Coverings is considered a business model in the United States because, historically, it receives several material distributors. This information was confirmed by analyzing the profile of visitors to the It’s Natural stand. Approximately 42% of those who were in the Brazilian space belonged to distribution chains in the local ornamental stone purchasing sector, confirming the strength of the event’s business model. All participating companies on the Brazilian stand will receive the leads generated by visits during the three days of the fair.

To achieve these goals, the Agency carries out diversified trade promotion actions aimed at promoting exports and valuing Brazilian products and services abroad, such as prospective and trade missions, business roundtables, support for the participation of Brazilian companies in major international fairs, visits of foreign buyers and opinion makers to get to know the Brazilian production structure, among other business platforms that also aim to strengthen the Brazil brand.
