Check out the statement:
The Cachoeiro Stone Fair is a place for meeting and sharing. A business tool for companies, but much more than that, it is designed and built by people, and for people. Therefore, we need to communicate an important decision, taken with great care, study and taking into account the health and well-being of everyone involved in the event.
In recent months, we have come across a scenario that prevents the continuation of events and fairs around the world, in view of the progression of Covid-19. We, following the guidelines of the competent bodies for the prevention and containment of the disease, see it as a more prudent decision to continue avoiding situations involving crowds and intense traffic of people, which is the case of an event of the size of the Cachoeiro Stone Fair.
Thus, MILANEZ & MILANEZE, the company that organizes the fair, with the knowledge of the Union of Ornamental Stones, Lime and Limestone Industries of the State of Espírito Santo – SINDIROCHAS, and the Technological Center for Marble and Granite, CETEMAG, entities promoting the event, communicates that it was necessary to make the difficult decision not to hold the CACHOEIRO STONE FAIR this year, confirming the next edition for 2021, from the 24th to the 27th of August, in Cachoeiro de Itapemirim, Espírito Santo.
We are deeply sorry, but, in this current scenario, ensuring the health and well-being of everyone directly and indirectly involved with the fair, such as exhibitors, sponsors, visitors and suppliers, must be a priority.
New projects for a new reality
Even with the limitations that arise in the midst of the pandemic, we want to continue carrying out the work we have been proud of over the last three decades: being a boosting platform for small, medium and large businesses, bringing value and facilitating the growth of our partners. To this end, we are already committed to a new project to listen, engage and boost the stone sector: the Stone Summit, which will act by connecting opportunities through the generation of valuable content, digital meetings and market intelligence for entrepreneurs! In addition, we intend to carry out, still in August this year, a virtual action in the period that traditionally hosts the marble fair.
These are ideas that point out ways for the sector to act within a new reality, but that do not intend to replace the fair in its traditional format. We believe that the connections created and nurtured by events like the Cachoeiro Stone fair are irreplaceable, and that, despite being adept and grateful for all the technologies that allow us to carry out incredible projects from a distance, we will emerge from this crisis with a great desire for bonds and relationships. closer and closer, valuing even more moments like a handshake or an eye-to-eye conversation.
We will continue working to deliver important moments for the resumption of commercial, human and social relations. Covid-19 arrived in the midst of many plans, yours and ours, but like the other crises we’ve been through – and overcome – together, this one too will pass.
