The Minister of Infrastructure, Tarcísio de Freitas, was in Espírito Santo this Monday, 5th, for the inauguration of the Atalaia Pier and for the signing of the renewal of the lease contract for the Terminal Vila Velha – TVV for Log-In Logística Intermodal , in the Port of Vitória (ES). The new Cais de Atalaia, on the Vila Velha bank, starts operating this Tuesday, 6th. The multipurpose terminal will be able to handle different types of cargo (liquid and solid bulk) such as wheat, malt, fertilizers, general cargo, among others.
The event was attended by Governor Renato Casagrande and the National Secretary of Ports and Waterway Transport, Diogo Piloni, from the Capixaba federal bench, in addition to several state authorities, businessmen, representatives of entities in the port segment. Frederico Robison, Fabio Cruz and Alessandra Bertolani (Centrorochas), Tales Machado (Sindirochas) and Eutemar Venturim (Cetemag) represented the dimension stone sector. Espírito Santo is responsible for around 82% of Brazilian exports in the segment and 40% of all national production in the productive arrangement.
