After a two-year hiatus without a face-to-face edition, companies in the ornamental stone sector came together again at the most important world fair for the supply chain and value of natural stone, Marmomac. The 2021 edition, held from September 29 to October 2, in Verona, Italy, brought together 12 Brazilian companies in an action organized directly by the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil), with support from the It’s Natural project – Brazilian Natural Stone.

The president of the Centro Brasileiro dos Exportadores de Pedras Ornamentais (Centrorochas), executing entity of the sectoral project, Tales Machado, and the manager of It’s Natural, Rogério Ribeiro, participated in the event and said that all the companies present were very satisfied with the return of fair. “Like in other years, this was an edition with a smaller audience, but that did not lose its shine, as the visits made were qualified, generating excellent contacts and business”, explained Tales.

Companies present at the Brazilian Pavilion: Amagran, Angramar, Brasigran, Decolores, Fortuna, Granipex, Imetame, Magban, Mameri, Margramar, Montenegro and Poliex.

Action with Brazilian businessmen

On September 29, after the opening of Marmomac, It’s Natural – Brazilian Natural Stone, with the support of Milanez & Milaneze and promotion from Centrorochas and Apex-Brasil, held an integration and welcome dinner for the Brazilian delegation. The meeting took place at Caffè Dante. Among those present were Tales Machado, president of Centrorochas, Rogério Ribeiro, manager of It’s Natural, Paulo Roberto Silva, project coordinator at Apex-Brasil, Silvio Gori, representative of the Brazilian consulate in Milan, Matteo Gelmetti, vice president of Veronafiere, Flávia Milanez, CEO of Milanez & Milaneze, Alessandro Giolai – M&M Board of Directors.

About It’s Natural – Brazilian Natural Stone

It’s Natural – Brazilian Natural Stone is an export incentive program developed by the Brazilian Center for Ornamental Stones Exporters (Centrorochas) in partnership with the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil). This program aims to increase exports of Brazilian ornamental stones, through a set of strategic internationalization actions with promotion actions, strengthening the image and development of the sector in the world market.
