A little over a month after the migration to the new block dispatch modality, the Working Group (GT) formed to monitor the process met with the Port of Vitória Customs to assess the changes and clarify possible doubts after the implementation of the new system. The group is made up of representatives from Centrorochas, Sindirochas, port terminals, shipowners, export companies and customs brokers. The meeting took place this Monday, November 25, at the headquarters of the Federal Revenue Service, in Vitória.
In the general evaluation of the GT, the alteration was positive. Migration to the new block dispatch modality took place on October 21st and continues in a period of adjustments until December 31st of this year, during which cases that are really exceptional and need to use the DU-e advance will be handled by an internal Customs team assigned to these assessments.
The group pre-scheduled a new meeting for January. Among the participants in the meeting were the tax auditor of the Federal Revenue of Brazil and ALV/VIT Delegate, Fabrício Betto, the tax auditors Douglas Coutinho and Jaques Mauro de Moraes, the superintendent of Centrorochas, Alessandra Bertolani, and the executive of Sindirochas, Celmo de Freitas.
