Forum in ES debates the Tax Reform proposal being considered in the National Congress

The Tax Reform being processed in the National Congress was the topic of debate in the industrial sector, held on June 15, at the headquarters of the Federation of Industries of Espírito Santo (Findes), in Vitória. The president of Centrorochas, Tales Machado, participated in the event, which included a presentation on the subject by the executive manager of economics at CNI, Mario Sergio Carraro Telles.

During his presentation, Telles pointed out the changes and benefits for the economy with the approval of the reform. Next, the CNI representative participated in a debate with Ricardo Ferraço, governor of Espírito Santo state; Cris Samorini, president of Findes; Da Vitória, federal deputy and coordinator of the board of Espírito Santo state; and Marcelo Altoé, Finance Secretary of Espírito Santo state.

The tax reform aims to simplify the process of verification and collection of federal taxes (IPI, PIS and Cofins), state (ICMS) and municipal (ISS).
