On February 14, Centrorochas executive director, Celmo de Freitas, represented the entity at the event to resume the use of the “Brand Brasil”. The ceremony took place in Brasília and was promoted by the national agencies that manage foreign trade and the promotion of international tourism: the Brazilian Agency for the Promotion of Exports and Investments (ApexBrasil) and the Brazilian Agency for the Promotion of International Tourism (Embratur).
The event had the participation of the presidents of ApexBrasil, Jorge Viana, and of Embratur, Marcelo Freixo. The brand was used by the country as a Nation Brand between 2005 and 2019. The measure is a time frame for the beginning of a new strategy to reposition the country’s image, focused on environmental sustainability.
