Some of these locations have Apex-Brasil offices and are commercial hubs, but the fact is that sectorial projects are of great importance in the development of this productive value chain”, he detailed.
In his speech, the Chief of Staff of the Foreign Trade and Economic Affairs Secretariat of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Joaquim Penna, spoke about the new structure that divided the sectors into similar areas and reinforced President Pestana’s words about the need for unity ‘ public versus private’. “We need to increase exports and increase the added value of Brazilian products”, he stressed, completing the importance of using commercial intelligence and integration with local entities when working with the foreign market. “The world does not know the energy matrix of Brazil’s production chain, which is the best among the 20 main economies”, he pointed out.
The president of Centrorochas, Tales Machado, was one of the associated entities to demonstrate. In addition to thanking the national agency for its partnership, he pointed out the lack of containers that has been affecting the sector. “First, I would like to thank Apex-Brasil for all the partnership and work it has been carrying out with the national productive sectors. The Brazilian rock sector ranks first in the world in terms of geological diversity. We are the fifth largest producer and exporter in the world and we want to go further. We rely on this partnership to further promote our products and contribute to Brazil’s image abroad. We have been suffering from the lack of containers that has been affecting the shipment of our materials abroad, but despite this difficulty, the sector managed to increase exports. We had, this year, the best first semester of the last five years”, he concluded.
