Coverings 2020 is canceled: measure happens due to the new coronavirus pandemic

After careful consideration of the unprecedented situation surrounding COVID-19, organizers at Coverings have announced the decision to cancel this year’s edition of the event. The measure was taken due to the evolution of travel restrictions, recommendations from public health authorities and the health of the fair’s global community, according to an official statement.

According to event organizers, the decision to cancel Coverings 2020 is a precautionary effort to minimize exposure to the COVID-19 virus and a full acknowledgment and compliance with the new public health requirements of US federal, state and local governments.

Work will now be focused on organizing Coverings 2021, scheduled to take place in Orlando, Florida, from April 13 to 16, 2021.
