Companies exhibiting at Vitoria Stone Fair will have ICMS postponed

An agreement to increase the competitiveness and presence of companies in the ornamental stone sector in the world market was signed by the state government during the opening ceremony of the Vitoria Stone Fair, this Tuesday, February 11th. The measure came to meet the sector’s request and determines an increase in the deadline for payment of ICMS due on operations carried out at Vitoria Stone Fair, which takes place from February 11th to 14th.

Espírito Santo occupies a prominent position in the ornamental stone segment for Brazil and the world. The State has one of the largest reserves of marble and granite in the country and represents around 82% of Brazilian exports. The incentive offered by the Government of Espírito Santo is fundamental for the dissemination of all geographic and economic potential of the State.
