To encourage Brazilian exports in the marble and granite sector, the Brazilian Center for Ornamental Stones Exporters (Centrorochas) will participate in the Fortaleza Brasil Stone Fair, which will take place from November 5th to 7th, in Ceará. The president, Frederico Robson, and the superintendent, Alessandra Bertolani, will represent the exporting entity at the event.
The fair seeks to expand the synergy with architecture, civil construction, designers and decoration professionals, aiming at valuing natural products. According to the organization, to encourage the presence of architects, specific technical lectures will be held on “Specification Guidelines” and “How to avoid pathologies in rocks”.
At the Fortaleza Brasil Stone Fair, granites, quartzites, marbles, limestones, laminated stones, machinery, equipment and inputs for the production chain of ornamental and cladding stones will be on display.
During the event, the X SRONE (Symposium of Ornamental Stones of Northeast Brazil) will be held, which will be promoted by CETEM (Mineral Technology Center). More than 80 technical works will be presented, in addition to lectures by architects Risale Neves Almeida and Renato Paldês.
On November 5th, the II Forum of IBRO (Brazilian Institute of Ornamental Stones) will take place, with the theme: “Thinking about the sector in 2068”. The institute seeks to reflect on the natural stone sector. Among the confirmed debaters are Peter Becker (Stone-Ideas.com), Carlos Rubens Alencar (Founder of IBRO), Xisto Medeiros (Veneza Engenharia) and Frederico Robison (president of Centrorochas)
