With the aim of facilitating and speeding up the progress of processes in the ornamental stone sector in Minas Gerais, representatives of Centrorochas and the Union of Marble, Granite and Ornamental Stone Processing Industries in the State of Minas Gerais (Sinrochas) met with the State Government of Minas Gerais, Romeu Zeman, on January 26th. On the agenda, debate for the modernization of the environmental legislation of the state of Minas Gerais.
“It is important to highlight that the segment’s claim is to make processes faster, without losing regulatory security”, highlighted the executive director of Centrorochas e Sindirochas, Celmo de Freitas. The meeting was attended by federal deputy Evair de Melo, the president of Sinrochas, Eduardo Felix, and the vice-president of the entity, Balbino Figueiredo.
