On November 26, Centrorochas was present at the launch of Parklog/ES, the newest logistics park in the state of Espírito Santo. The event was held at Palácio Anchieta, in the city of Vitória. The ceremony was attended by Governor Renato Casagrande and Vice Governor Ricardo Ferraço, as well as several authorities and guests. The Brazilian association of the stone industry was represented by its superintendent, Giovanni Francischetto.
Parklog/ES was created as a strategic initiative to improve logistics and encourage economic development in the state, which is already the largest exporter of natural stones in Brazil. With an integrated infrastructure in place, the park will feature three ports (Imetame, Portocel, and the Vports area in Barra do Riacho), two airports (Linhares and Aracruz), a dry port, and an Export Processing Zone (EPZ), whose operations, to be carried out by Imetame, were already authorized by the federal government. The comprehensive structure highlights Espírito Santo’s role as one of the main logistics and exporting hubs in Brazil.
The space will encompass the cities of Aracruz, Linhares, Colatina, João Neiva, Serra, Ibiraçu, Fundão, and Sooretama – the latter three were announced officially during the event. As a representative of one of the most important sectors for the economy of the state of Espírito Santo, Centrorochas acknowledges the potential of Parklog/ES to make logistics easier and increase the competitiveness of companies that export natural stones. The association will continue to closely monitor the developments in this strategic project, which promises to transform the logistics infrastructure in the region.
