The executive director of Centrorochas e Sindirochas, Celmo de Freitas, and the general manager of Centrorochas, Giovanni Francischetto, accompanied the agendas of the Consul General of Italy in Rio de Janeiro, Massimiliano Iacchini, and the Honorary Consul of Italy in Espírito Santo, Roger Gaggiato, on June 6th, in Vitória.
In a meeting at the headquarters of Milanez & Milaneze, it was discussed the holding of an event led by the Italian consulate, with the support of Centrorochas and the company responsible for organizing the Vitoria Stone Fair and Cachoeiro Stone Fair, which is part of the Italian group, VeronaFiere, and has Flávia Milaneze, as CEO.
The visit schedule ended with an event held at the Anchieta Palace. The Italian-Capixaba community gathered to celebrate the Feast of the Republic of Italy, held for the first time in the state, and for the launch of the commemorative stamp on the 150th anniversary of Italian immigration to Brazil. The event was attended by Italian leaders, the governor of ES, Renato Casagrande, the vice-governor, Ricardo Ferraço, among other political and sectoral leaders.
During his visit to the capital of Espírito Santo, the Consul General stated that this is the first time that the Consulate has held this commemoration outside of Rio de Janeiro. In time, the Consulate covers the states of Rio de Janeiro and Espírito Santo.
