The Brazilian Center of Ornamental Stone Exporters (Centrorochas) will be present at Interni Cross Vision 2024, an exhibition that is part of Milano Design Week and will take place from April 15 to 28 in Milan.
Called “Giardino Di Pietra”, the art installation was conceived by designer Vivian Coser. Brazil’s participation is organized by It’s Natural – Brazilian Natural Stone, an export incentive program developed by Centrorochas and the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil).
The work, which explores the use of natural stone combined with the concepts of biophilia, technology, innovation and sustainability, weighs almost 6,000 kilos and is made up of 115 flowers, measuring 70 X 70 X 4 cm and weighing 50 kg each, carved from Brazilian quartzite.
The materials were supplied by four companies: Bramagran (Maragogi), Decolores (Bronzite), Pedra do Frade (Natura) and Thor Granitos (Belagio and Tesla).
