Integration Protocol: rock entities from ES, MG and CE sign document

The presidents of Centrorochas (Brazilian Center for Dimension Stone Exporters), Frederico Robison, and Sindirochas-ES (Union of Dimension Stone, Lime and Limestone Industries of the State of Espírito Santo), Tales Machado, met their agenda in Belo Horizonte this Monday- fair, February 17, when they participated in the presentation “Minas Gerais and Espírito Santo Strategic Plan”, developed by FINDES and FIEMG. On the occasion, the two entities in the ornamental stone sector signed the “Integration Protocol”. Together with Sinrochas-MG (Intermunicipal Union of Marble, Granite and Ornamental Stone Processing Industries in the State of Minas Gerais) and Simagran-CE (Union of Marble and Granite Industries of the State of Ceará), Sindirochas-ES and Centrorochas, undertake to work together in pursuit of their goals. The three states (ES, MG and CE) account for around 95% of the segment’s exports in Brazil.

The union of the states indicates the search for their strengthening, which will be beneficial to the strengthening of the country. The movement was born as an aggregator of national interests, the same occurring in the integration of entities in the stone sector that sealed the agreement.

The document was signed by the presidents of Centrorochas and the employers’ unions of the three largest exporting states in the stone sector in the country: Frederico Robison (Centrorochas), Carlos Rubens (Simagran-CE), Tales Machado (Sindirochas-ES), and Balbino Figueiredo ( Sinrochas-MG). The integration between industry leaders takes place with the support of the Federation of Industries of Espírito Santos (Findes).

“Minas Gerais and Espírito Santo Strategic Plan”

Plan developed by Findes and Fiemg with a focus on infrastructure and logistics to encourage investments in roads, ports and railways in both states. The works also include the development of municipalities in the Vale do Rio Doce, legal security in transactions between companies in MG and ES and also the oil and gas industry.

In addition to the presidents of the Espírito Santo and Minas Gerais federations, Léo de Castro and Flávio Roscoe, the governors of ES, Renato Casagrande, and MG, Romeu Zema, former senator Ricardo Ferraço, the coordinator of the Bench of ES, Josias da Vitória, the deputy federal government, Evair de Melo, Eutemar Venturim (Cetemag), as well as businessmen and other political leaders.
