Centrorochas and Sindirochas carry out consultation on electricity in the productive sector

One hundred and three companies in the ornamental stone sector from Espírito Santo participated in the consultation “Electric energy: contracted demands and contracts in the free market”, carried out by Centrorochas and Sindirochas between the 14th and 16th of this month.

Among several aspects, the survey showed that only 39% of companies operate in the free energy market, against 61% that do not. In addition to other information from the survey, the final report with the result of this study released to companies this Friday, April 24, will help the technical and legal staff of the institutions, as they indicate the profiles of the industries, enabling a better basis for decisions in defense of the sector’s collective interests. Guidelines that are already being worked on by the entities can benefit from this information, such as questions about the contracted demand with the concessionaires and energy purchase contracts in the free market.

The survey also points out that, in the next three months, 54% of companies foresee a drop in monthly energy consumption between 25% and 50%; another 10% estimate a reduction between 10% and 25% and only 8% expect no casualties. Access the full query result.
