Assembly approves amendments to Centrorochas statute

Gathered in a virtual Extraordinary General Assembly (AGE) this Friday, March 26, Centrorochas associates deliberated on partial adjustments to the association’s bylaws and were updated on the status of the sectoral project It’s Natural – Brazilian Natural Stone developed by the entity in partnership with Apex-Brasil. All businessmen present were very optimistic about the expected formalization of the agreement and the actions involved, which reflects the expectations of the sector.

At the opening of the meeting, the president of Centrorochas, Frederico Robison, reinforced the importance of modernizing the statute that aims to speed up processes, adapt the entity to the new reality of the national stone sector and clarify gaps that were not addressed by the statute.

Main amendments to the bylaws

– Associates

In addition to the two current forms of association: permanent associate and collaborator associate, the entity now has two more categories for association: institutional associate (which will cover employers’ unions and partner entities) and special associate (category created to receive companies that have not yet export, but who are interested in entering the international market. If it does not carry out an export activity within a period of two years, it automatically migrates to the associate-collaborator modality).

– Composition of the Deliberative and Fiscal Council

Formation of an electoral slate with a minimum of 7 members for the Board, and a maximum of 14, in addition to a minimum of 3 alternates and a maximum of 10. , the Council may ratify its permanence until the end of the mandate.

– Consulting board

Creation of an Advisory Board made up of all former presidents of Centrorochas and presidents of partner employer unions (institutional associate).

– New address

Centrorochas is operating in a new room. The association’s headquarters kept the address, but moved to a larger room. The exchange became necessary with the growth of the technical team due to the new projects on which the entity has been working.
