  • The Brazilian Natural Stone Association Takes Part in Strategic Industry Meeting in Espírito Santo

The event brought together business leaders and representatives of Espírito Santo’s industrial sector to discuss economic development and the state’s business environment. Espírito Santo also leads Brazil’s natural stone exports.

The natural stone industry was present at the Industry Meeting 2026, held by the Federation of Industries of the State of Espírito Santo (Findes) and the Center for Industry of Espírito Santo (Cindes) at Cerimonial Le Buffet Master in Vitória. The Brazilian Natural Stone Association (Centrorochas) was represented by its president, Tales Machado, who also serves on the boards of Sindirochas and Findes, reinforcing the institutional presence of the natural stone sector within Espírito Santo’s main strategic industry forums.

The event brought together business leaders, representatives of the productive sector, and public authorities. Participants connected to the natural stone sector included Sindirochas president Bismark Bachiete; the association’s Southern Regional Vice President, Ed Martins; Sindirochas’ representative to Findes, Jonathan Marquezini; and Flávia Milaneze, CEO of Milanez & Milaneze, organizer of the Cachoeiro Stone Fair and Marmomac Brazil trade shows.

Held annually, the Industry Meeting fosters discussions on economic development, the business environment, and strategic challenges facing the productive sector. The 2026 edition also featured the presentation of economic indicators, the launch of projects developed by Findes’ technical team, and a lecture by political consultant Zaina Latif, who shared insights on the political landscape and prospects for the Brazilian economy.
