Brazil is set to gain greater visibility at Marmomac Italy 2025, one of the world’s leading international natural stone trade fairs, taking place from September 23 to 26 in Verona. The country will feature an exclusive Brazilian pavilion and plans to leverage the opportunity to promote tourism and attract international buyers to the Brazilian edition of the event, Marmomac Brazil, which will be held from February 24 to 26, 2026, in São Paulo.
To this end, sector representatives met with the Brazilian Agency for International Tourism Promotion (Embratur) on May 21st in Brasília, where an official invitation was extended for the agency to join the Brazilian delegation to the Italian trade fair. The goal is for Embratur to carry out institutional actions to promote Brazil’s tourism potential, taking advantage of Marmomac’s qualified international visitor flow to stimulate business tourism, increase interest in the country, and attract foreign buyers to the Brazilian edition of the event, thus establishing the national edition as a hub for business and global connections in the sector’s calendar.
The meeting included Roberto Gevaerd, Embratur’s Director of Management and Innovation; Congressman Evair de Melo; Tales Machado, President of Centrorochas; Giovanni Francischetto, Superintendent; and Flávia Milaneze, CEO of Marmomac Brazil. The meeting is part of a series of strategic efforts to internationalize the sector and promote Brazil as a destination that unites business, tourism, and culture.
