Led by Centrorochas and Sindirochas, a group of businessmen and service providers linked to the export system met this Tuesday, September 24, with the tax auditor of the Federal Revenue of Brazil and ALV/VIT Delegate, Fabrício Betto, and with Codesa’s head of customs service, Nelson Dias, to verify the possibility of using equipment and systems from the project for the use and operation of the Intelligent Port Logistics Chain (Portolog) to obtain the information necessary for export processes, in particular, of the DU-e (Single Export Declaration).
The electronic document serves as the basis for export customs clearance and, as defined by Customs, will be changed from October 21 of this year to the normal DU-e modality, replacing the advanced DU-e that is normally used in ornamental stone exports.
At the meeting, held at the headquarters of the Federal Revenue, in Vitória, it was verified the impossibility, at least momentarily, of the convergence of resources, but it opened up space for analysis and future actions aimed at greater agility and assertiveness in the processes. Considering that it would be an additional resource, the date of entry into force of the new procedure defined by Customs was maintained for October 21st.
