After promoting its first strategic action in one of the target markets defined for the promotion of Brazilian dimension stones, It’s Natural – Brazilian Natural Stone, a sectoral project celebrated as a result of the partnership between the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil) and the Brazilian Center for Ornamental Stones Exporters (Centrorochas), celebrates the impact of its visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) due to the Big 5, held between September 12th and 15th, in Dubai.
Centrorochas vice-president, Fabio Cruz, and sector project manager, Rogério Ribeiro, participated in the event, fulfilled a schedule of local meetings and were in charge of the technical lecture given by the Brazilian Paulo Giafarov. Known worldwide, the international specifier of ornamental stones, spoke about the diversity of Brazilian products, highlighting their production capacity, possibilities of use and creation, for buyers, architects and local designers. The lecture, held in a hybrid way, in person and virtually, brought together more than 100 spectators who followed everything live. On the internet, it was broadcast on the It’s Natural profile on Instagram (@braziliannaturalstone). The event also featured a presentation by Brazilian companies of their products and industrial parks. Companies present: Angramar, Magban, Marbrasa and Programar.
For the manager of It’s Natural, Rogério Ribeiro, the trip was very productive and the team, which is now back in Brazil, brought a baggage full of great experiences and learning. “The trip brought a great qualitative gain to guide future work and actions in the Gulf region, not only in the United Arab Emirates, since this market acts as an important hub for neighboring countries,” he said.
Recently, the market study on the UAE, carried out by Apex-Brasil with the support of Centrorochas, was presented during an episode of the Stone Summit. Apex-Brasil acts to promote Brazilian products and services abroad and attract foreign investment to strategic sectors of the Brazilian economy. To achieve these goals, the Agency carries out diversified trade promotion actions aimed at promoting exports and valuing Brazilian products and services abroad, such as prospective and trade missions, business roundtables, support for the participation of Brazilian companies in major international fairs, visits of foreign buyers and opinion makers to get to know the Brazilian production structure, among other business platforms that also aim to strengthen the Brazil brand.
